The Death Circle mutator is designed primarily for LRS mode and behaves similarly to Battle Royale/Fortnite’s death circle, the longer the match goes, the smaller the circle gets and if you get out of the circle you take damage! This is of course, to avoid camping and involve more strategy around the map.
To ensure that the circle converges into reachable places, the circle always follows the center of mass of the active players (In pest mode, the center of mass of non-zombies).
The default behavior is to always converge to the minimum radius in 2 minutes, regardless of map size. However admins/server can overwrite this time for the current match using the command:
!deathcircle <time_m>
A good idea, very nicely inplemented (props for customization), and leveraging the latesr JJ2+ tech. What’s not to love?
