sorry if you get something like a bajillion of these threads already
lordy lordy lordy..
played jazz jackrabbit 2 after of like what? 1 year? 2 years? of not playing it. i am in my opinion not deprived from the "latest" technogically advanced computer/video games and such. but you know what? jazz jackrabbit 2 really still impresses me and boy oh boy it's fun. and man i totally forgot about how the funny little sounds Spaz makes made me chuckle or at least smile a little. the slide-kick (or whatever the move is called) noise being an especially wonderful one. i am so making my friend play it when he wakes up. heh. i'd like to see a platform/side-scroller (whatever you want to call it) game that's better in terms of engine, gameplay, level design, etc. than jazz jackrabbit 2, but i get the feeling JJ2 is as good as it is going to get and honestly i have little complaints about that. |

Holy crap, it's jb.
Hello. Welcome back. You're just in time for the Anniversary Bash, as you probably knew. About another side scroller, there was some big fuss about project Mechais (see fangames forum) and Possum still exists, in theory, with MetalWarrior: http://www.sphere7studios.com I hardly ever play Jazz nowadays, but recently in a spurt of randomness I began making a tileset. I think Jazz2 might see a surge in the oldies coming back and participating, at least for a season. It's great to see some old faces though.

Every time school lets out, we get a flood of people who leave a few weeks later. It's funny.

WB ;D I joined the community after you did, so I guess I'll have to introduce myself. Call me LRK or Lark. Either way. I play under the name LarK TF.
Oh, and come to #jj2 on QuakeNet. And if you don't find the conversations appealing, atleast come to #BOB_ALLEN.
