Rocket Turtle

Yes, I know the Rocket Turtle is actually an end boss despite the fact that it actually is listed in the 'bad guys' event list, but when I activate him all he does is stand still then fly away. Does anyone know how to work this little bugger?

With Area IDs. he goes to 1, then 2, then 3, etc. You'll need to do it in clumps.

Actually, you don't need to set the ID of the AreaID.


Ok, place the Rocket Turtle, and surround him with Area ID events, paticularly at the upper left corner. A thickness of two or three should be good. Create a path of Area IDs coming out of this cluster. The Rocket Turtle, once activated, will follow this path to the end, where he will stop and never do anything again. There are a great number of possibilities for this boss which I'll leave you to imagine.

Note: If you die while the Rocket Turtle is activated, any Area ID events he passed over previously are still thought of as "used" and RT won't detect them. I hope you don't need to be told this is a bad thing.
