I'm sure you are all familiar with infamous Treasure Hunt level, "Voldard's Cool Treasure Jungle". If you'll play it carefully, you'll eventually notice that... it's crap.
Those wholesome crapness made a permanent effect on J2O'ers minds.

Anyway, I just got bored today, and decided to make a sequel. Although, don't
expect same crap as it was there, as this level *WON'T* be cheap 30-second
level.

General Status of VCTJ 2:
- no music chosen yet
- no tileset (I can't decide between Jungle Day or Evening... or, maybe Nature's Ruins)
- no level design at all (like there)

In other words, I just have to start the works.
Any suggestions? Or should I give up?

Music - I reccomend something like Distort.Mod or Space_debris.mod, if you're using a happyish tileset. If you want to use a dark, dangerous tileset, use happy music like the Final Fantasy music or something. In other words, make sure the music fits in no way whatsoever.

Tileset - definitely one of Agama's or Disguise's. Any self-respecting n00b would go for a good-looking/popular tileset, thinking that the fact that it uses such a wonderful tileset makes up for the fact that the level sucks. Personally, I'd suggest Swamps of the Jaguar, since it's pretty good, or Sirius, since some people seem to hate that tileset.

Level - either copy the layout of VCTJ 1 (I took teh level and made it better ) or make a huge level where you have to solve a puzzle for every single red gem. Hey, it wouldn't be a 30-second level any more, would it?

I do.

I decided to choose Jungle 2, as it's also quite good, and it was tileset which original VCTJ used

For music, I selected alc_run.xm - the one in SXR tubelectric level. People seem to like both level, and music.

Still, I'm unsure of layout. But I'll provide screenshots soon

In the final release, forget to put the extention on the music file. And instead of Jungle2, use a modified version of Jungle2 that replaces the most important tiles with a MSPaint picture of your clantag. And forget to include the new tileset, forcing people to switch it to Jungle2 themselves and wondering what was in the place of the random block of tiles scattered around the level.

And imo, Voldards Cool Treasure jungle isnt the worst level out there, so I dont know what the big deal is. ;(. If you still want to go at it, then GL HF DD or something.
