How OLD is OLD?

To revive threads, what is the maxium amount of days, that a topic hasn't been active before it can be revived?

There isn't a concrete number of days specifying when a thread is old.

I think that the general rule of thumb is that if the reply is relevant and informational, and the subject of the topic is still relevant, revivals are alright. But very few revivals actually fall into that category.

How about a maximum of threads per week

Hm yes. Revived topics are usually revived for no good reason at all, so maybe an auto-close function would be useful. But as Trafton sais, purposeful revives wouldn't get a chance then

I find reviwing a topic with something relevant is better then starting a new one, no matter how old.
