problem updating jazz jackrabbit 2
I have read throught the FAQ, but I still dont quite understand it.
I have Jazz Jackrabbit 2 version 1.00 it says on the CD, and it is OEM. I tried to install 1.23r patch, and it said everything was missing. Is this something to do with the directory it is installed in, which was not the default install directory? Thanks for any help |

ah, I have just seen in the game it says 1.00h if that tells you anything. I am running on XP, and I have a slight problem with the occasional crash when playing 2 player, and you hit someone using the spazz slide thing

Any OEM 1.00 versions are actually betas of the game and are not supported by patches. If you want to patch JJ2, you need to buy an ordinary version like 1.20.

Well It's kind of impossible to buy, so you might as well do the other way...

Right on Epic Games's site it tells who still sells their old games.
http://www.epicclassics.com/ You can order all their old stuff. I don't see JJ2 or TSF on there... but it wouldn't hurt to ask if they sell those as well.

That's a HUGE profit! $6 something for every JJ2 game bought!
