Question Big problem.

I have the "Conntion timed out" error on my computer. My dad did every thing he can before dinner. help

Do you have a router/firewall? You probably need to open ports 10052-10054 TCP and UDP to that computer.

Me and my dad tried that many times. I'm not sure it will work.

Open ports on your modem maybe? Sounds awkward I know, but it worked for me.

make sure your firewall is off

If all hope is lost, you can always put your PC in your router's DMZ. If you do so, make sure you run a software firewall though.

but what is a dmz? i mean i know what it is but would you have to open ports if u put it on? meanin your dmz?
