Puzzling gamepad problem
Ok, here's the deal....me and a friend both have PCs with very similar specs, and the same gamepad (Saitek P880), but for some reason, the pad is not reckognized in Jazz 2 on his comp, but it works fine on mine. He has updated his executable and everything, netplay and everything else works fine, but for some reason the gamepad won't work(and yes, he plugged it in before the game was loaded)...I do know he has XP service pack 2 loaded (I have XP service pack 1)...would this have any bearing? Help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, the pad works fine in other games on his computer. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did he install the software for the lamepad correctly?
Uninstall the drivers and reinstall them.

the gamepad(it's a very comfortable pad) comes with software for creating game profiles, for use with the macro function, but does not require it for full use - works fine without the profile software installed. Thanks anyway.
