Since a few days I have JJ2 and I'd like to play the game online. With the demo version everything works right. But to play the retail version (1.00) online I needed the 1.23 patch. So I downloaded it and tried to install, then I get the message; ''There is a problem with the patches for the following files:
Anims.j2a - unknown version
Beach.j2b - missing
Bonus2.j2b - missing
*long list*

Anyone know why my version misses all those files and how I can get them ?

I think because you have the OEM version, you need 1.21 1.22 at least to use the patch. Correct me if im wrong.

Very simple: You don't have the retail version, but the OEM version, which is like a promotional version shipped with new computers. It also happens to be the version offered for download (illegally) on some sites.

This has been asked many times, this is the usual answer: try to find a JJ2 game on EBay. The retail version has the number 1.20, from that version on you can use the regular patches.

And Satan.. it patches from 1.20 - 1.22 to 1.23

Wait, how do U get those versions? I have that too. version 1.0g

That version 1.00g was downloaded from a warez net site or it came with your computer.

You have to buy the retail version of the game at a store which still sells this game
