Reporting Posts...?
I've been wondering about this for a while now.. how exactly does reporting posts work?
I mean, who gets the report message? Is a link to the reported post included, and if so, what is the message one has to enter when reporting a post for, or does one have to enter a message anyway? Etc.

Reporting a post sends an email to a moderator or administrator. Some forums have a specific person set, otherwise I think it defaults to FQuist.

I've always wondered what sort of message you're supposed to write. A long paragraph on why it should be reported? A "fix this plz"?

I never cared enough to do a report, actually. Sooner or later one of the admins would find it anyway.

Actually, posts being reported helps me a lot. I have set them to appear in bold red in my e-mail client, and if I check my e-mail there're often posts reported that hadn't been caught yet. The admins do not see everything.
Generally, I click on reports wether there's a good description or not. A good description sometimes helps, especially if it's an offense that's a bit hidden, but I've never really had problems with descriptions (even though they are often quite bad).

KK, If I see something I might report it. ^o^
I don't often find bad things not edited or deleted yet though.
