I haven't really been an active participant of JDC lately. In fact, I never got into the top 10, and I. Don't. Even. Remember which seasons I played in! This year things will be different for me, because of a sudden 'big bang' (fortunately, only time was created, and not any additional space or matter... ;p).

All right, to the point now. I didn't create this thread just for ppl to know that I'm going to participate, no, that was just the opening paragraph (everyone uses them these days). I just think maybe more ppl should be encouraged to be more active in JDC, and not just take part, because I know that the JDC season, closely followed by the two JJ2WCs and the anniversary bashes, must be the most active period of the JJ2 community.

I think it's only natural that ppl who are normally not so active on JJ2 (especially those that haven't participated in the JJ2WCs) to take some time and really score some 'jazz hours' with JJ2. Don't just play the occasional duel or attend only the biggest events. Help contribute to us all by playing as much as possible in JDC 10. If you want to see the listservers filled with games again, then this is your chance. Don't fail us.



Finally I have found a good use for my JDC logo. Thanks goes to sers^^ for hosting it for me.

Edit: JDC is starting July 11 and I don't want people to get confused and think it's starting on the 10th. Hope you don't mind the edit. -Bobby

Option 3. I have more real life stuff planned for the summer than I ever have before, so I won't have seas of time to play.

Same as Enigma.I also have planned some stuff for holidays and playing jj2 2 or more hours a day isn't fun as it should be. :P

Hehe, this will be my third time already when I miss the opening event and a big part of JDC-season. Great it's going to start right after I'm leaving so I might barely be able to play at all. Maybe I might be back when the final round is going on but only then I'm only going to participate in main events or something, as duelling really doesn't get me much higher anymore since I've been missing for 60% of the season.
However, I'm eagerly waiting for JDC 11 to start right after that.

It's going to be an interesting season since there is a new generation with players like Grytolle around.

Wow, you can do that, Bob? But that would also mean that private polls still hold information about you! I feel so vulnerable. Oh, and for some reason the title on the Tournament board still reads '10th July', which must be why Reptile thinks what I thought.

I never played JDC before. Always missed it. I'm probably going to get owned, though.

I haven't had a single duel as of yet this entire month. While usually loads of people ask me for a duel.

EDIT: Blargh. I swear it did not say you had to play with your JDC account name before. Can I still change it? Can I delete my account and create a new one?

It is much appreciated that you keep your old JDC username this season for continuity with the past. But we cannot stop you if you register a new one.

It is not possible for us to change an old username however.

What if someone's willing to play on JDC yet he's forced to use someone else's computer?

Who won't play very much due to trips to Norway and Benelux ;(

I was planning to play loads today... but then I saw that it didn't starts the 11th for me -_- Ill ahve to go home right when the American opening-event starts

I'm probably just gonna do 8 duels and all the events.

I've been active in this round already. The next 2 rounds I will be active as well. I'll miss the last round, and a part of the fourth round. I will be back from vacation when JDC11 starts.

now, like whole ÇC didnt play (Chiyu, Vegito, Anakin, GreenPlant, Grytolle, which all can get a high rank.) Nor did (Squirrel, Yasco which also can make a high rank.)

And there still are BlackRaptor, Snooze and Sasik from last season.
however we may not forget the less active R3ptile which is still able to win a season.

That kind of means that the next season will be much more.. fun? I think.

My goal next season will be to attempt to attend a complete event, rather than being kept away from the computer until the last five minutes.

At first I'll try to just stay in top-5 as I now have quite much free-time although my school has already started. However, if it seems that I have better chances this season then I could even expect and everything goes really well, I'll surely try to fight for the victory or 2nd place even.

And nothing to prove I would have luck against them atm. I have to find that out during the season itself. Already said I will give them a good competition if things go well enough for me. ;P

Uhm well most people weren't active this JDC so heh I came 4th overall which is ok but got a funny award ( I AM T3H "NEWBIE CRUSHER" muahahaha), i guess that's not much to be proud of :P
