A tedious music question
Approximately how long is each song from JJ2 from beggining to the start of the next iteration/loop/repeat? I'd check myself but I don't have the game here, and the mod files I possess lack looping information.
Alternatively, if anyone has the mod files with all the loops in them (example: my copies of Medival Jam and H'ell Freezes Over don't have loop information), would it be possible to get them? Essentially, I'd like to stick some of the songs on an mp3 player, but I want the full-length things rather than the shortened versions. |

I've recorded all the music from Lori Central on an audio CD long ago... this means that the lengths here are of these versions (like for example shorter Labrat, yes I know the patterns are in there but back then I didn't know). I'll record the proper versions with some nice fades... someday... Here are the tracks:
01. Jazz Intro [0:37] 02. Jazz Jackrabbit Remix [1:48] 03. Frolick Lane [1:52] 04. Jazz Belmont [1:55] 05. Streetwize [2:49] 06. Jazz castle [2:24] 07. Carrotus [1:51] 08. Laboratory Level [1:28] 09. Colonius Level 1 [2:00] 10. Hippie Heaven [1:55] 11. Beach Bunny! [2:04] 12. Water Level [3:01] 13. Diamondus Remix [2:28] 14. Tubelectric Remix [2:06] 15. Medivo [2:16] 16. Medival Jam [1:54] 17. Jungle Fevah v2.0 [3:49] 18. Hell Freeze Over [1:52] 19. Dark Groove Part 1 [4:05] 20. Jazz Be (-)ed [2:17] 21. Finale [1:13] 22. Jazz2 Bonus Stage [1:45] 23. White Hare [1:57] 24. Fastrack [3:11] 25. Jaz30 [0:46] 26. Jazz2 Menu [1:21] 27. Pull Back The Bass [3:18] Full length: 58:02

Well, I'll be doing a gamerip of JJ2 soon, a gamerip being exactly what you want; properly looped and faded MP3s of all the music. I've already done the tracklist but I haven't timed everything yet;
01 - Jazz Intro* 02 - Jazz Jackrabbit 2 03 - Jazz Castle 04 - Carrotus 05 - LabRat 06 - Sugar Rush! 07 - Colonius 08 - Medivo** 09 - Hippie Heaven 10 - Beach Bunny! 11 - Marinated Rabbit 12 - Boss -Alex B.-*** 13 - Diamondus Remix 14 - Tubelectric Remix 15 - Medival Jam 16 - Boss -Robert A.- 17 - Jungle Fevah 2.0 18 - Hell Freezes Over 19 - Dark Groove (Part 1) 20 - Jazz be Damned 21 - Finale* 22 - FastTrack 23 - Frolick Lane 24 - Jazz Belmont 25 - Streetwize 26 - White Hare 27 - Pull Back The Bass 28 - Level Complete****,*** --BONUS TRACKS-- 29 - Episode Select (Unused) 30 - JAZ30 (Unused) * No loop ** Technically not unused since it appears in the OEM version *** Needs to be manually ripped from the game **** All three level complete jingles one after another I did all that from memory so I probably missed some stuff. |

Ever noticed, by the way, the sugar rush theme is a cheap rip from 90's hit Tribal Dance by 2Unlimited?

You could also add the tunes from Basehead as more bonus tracks. And I always compared the Sugar Rush theme to Mortal Kombat movie theme.
