My rabbit art (Both hand and computer)

I'm not a great artist. Ask me to draw you a portrit and I would probably hand you a stick figure. Ask me to draw a car (Tractors especilly) or a building, and I will attempt to give you as much detail short of drafting a blueprint of it. I just don't like drawing live creatures.

Since I decided to rebuild one of my childhood worlds, Rabbitearth, I just could not leave it at words. Art does truly help create worlds, so I started work on art.

Naturally, I started with the computer:
http://www.geocities.com/puffie40/RArtwork.html
http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=88945

I do have to say, though, that the creation of those images helped me slide away from the boxy, 2D images I used to draw, so that was a start. But notice somthing missing in those pictures?

That's right, the rabbits. That's were the first paragraph comes in.

I did one more attempt in drawing a rabbit in the world before a long pause as a illistration for the story that is both a work in progress and what started the building of the world. I pause the story between "Seams" of creativity, so it generally either involves art or storywriting.

This Latest one had me drawing in my notebook when I should have been doing homework. all hand drawn, you can now see how bad my handart really is! also, scans of A little bit of a sketchbook I created while playing with early art ideas is in the same gallery.

Thanks for any comment (Short of "u sux lol")

Hmm, what you need then is some kind of tractor-rabbit. Well, I think we're in luck; Spaz'll do anything for a chicken leg, especially when tipsy now all I need is a willing tractor...

Ever cnsidered robots?

Robots I can draw no problem. One of my Sketchbook scans has two robots, but you could say i'm forcing myself to draw the rabbits so I am more comfortable with them.

Hooboy-the sight of Spaz's head mixed with the front end of groundskeeper Willie's tractor is already floating in my head. Nice going

Yeah, sounds about right, that tractor always was easy, she'd park with anyone who could offer her a good oiling and a rub down with a greasy rag and some polish.

New image guys,

enjoy

"A shadow slid it's way the the edge of the ally entrance. There, a legion tank stood there, part of the many patrols to try and maintain order.

The shadow's name was Jake. He had enough of the rabbitearth govenment controlling a planet most of it's residents have not even been on. Trying to impose restrictions and demands on a outpost and a different culture on Minerva.

His plan tonight was simple. Perform a hostile takeover on a tank, and drive it to the rebel base on the outskirts of Detamon. His semiautomatice rifle was ready. He would take no prisoners. Maybe if he was succesful, he might even salvage a few laser rifles!
Pausing for a few seconds, Jake thought about the chance of death before racing around the corner."
