Tileset Building Problem

Here's the problem:
I have my two images, ts and mask.
I put them in and select that fix color option.
I select the ts and press 'Build'.
Then it says it can't open it!
I saved it in 24-bit BMP, it should read it, so help?!

JJ2 cannot read 24-bit colored bitmaps, but it can read 8-bit palletized bitmaps. To convert one to an 8-bit palletized bitmap, use a tool such as Monolith's TilesetPal.

Something went wrong when it downloaded, try using another web program, IE is suspect to that error a lot, especially when the sending site uses a certain type of firewall.

I'll try Firefox, my usual browser.

EDIT: Ah. It works. All fixed.

Red face

... you just revived a dead topic, also this is jazz2online the tilesets here are for Jazzjackrabbit 2 not jazzjackrabbit 1 and to use a tileset for jj2 you put the tileset into your "Jazz2" folder and then open up JCS

EDIT: dont talk in caps (theif)

Tone down the caps will ya?

Anyhow, the tilesets themselves will only work with version 1.23 or greater, since that's what they're made with. If you try to view them with an inferior version they'll show up blank.

And Birdie, ever heard of typos?
