What on earth this means??
Yeah, this is actually a weird thing. I tried to clear my own created stage and it went well. Then I were at next stage, of course. But when I cleared it, it went back to previous stage, and it started from the goal. Then I had to clear the next stage once again and it happened again! So it started the previous stage from the goal and then I went to next stage again... If I use cheat jjnext, even it won't help, I'll go to previous stage again and it happens again, again, again and again... And then I deleted that stage and guess what? Now it happens with other stages! I can't stand it!
I have re-installed the game, and nothing can help! But maybe if you could help..? Please? Pretty please? I just hope that even somebody can help me...

That's a pretty pesky bug. In all of the versions of JJ2 the "Area Warp Secret" event has been buggy, in 1.20 it stopped the regular "Area End of Level" events from working (untill you fought a boss) and in 1.23 the event doesn't deactivate upon re-entry and warps you back to the secret stage, not to mention it glitches the regular "End of Level" event untill you close JJ2. As a standard, you should only use "Area End of Level" events for the end of level, with "Secret" set to 0.
However if you *must* have a secret level, you should use the "Bonus Level Signpost" event, which acts like the "?" signs in JJ1 (which means you shoot it). The level accessed via the signpost is treated like a regular one, when you finish it, you go to the level marked in the "Next Level" field. - JelZe GoldRabbit =:3 |

Oh, I use TSF, but I have that 1.23 version, but could it be possible that this happens because I use TSF?(Check my spelling please!)

Are you using the secret level end event? Because the secret level exit takes you to the level, then boots you back to the previous level. In the origional 1.23 levels, the Medivo set had a secret level, and it kept warping me back to the to that same level over and over again.

What are the events you are using?
what would happen when you return "Back to the goal" (I assume you are talking about the exit, right?) If it warps right away to the next level, that's the "secret level bug" From what I can see here, here are the ending event in JCS: In Gameplay/Area: (With these, the player walks past them) Area End Of Level Area Warp EOL Area Warp Secret In Gameplay/Signposts: (With these, the player shoots them) Bonus Level Signpost End of Level Signpost In my expiriments with these, the "area warp secret" is the only one that gives the symptoms you described. |
