a few little changes made a hell of a difference.
the game executable will now connect to master.razzarena.da.ru (so you dont have to edit your host file)

allso the installer will now ask if you want to have a Dedicated Server and even if you want to run it as system service

oh i would love to have some mirrors on that new installer.

now it will allso show empty and full servers!

I made the first mirror =D

Seems to work pretty well so far, I hosted and got pwned by piet. Game seems to run well on my crappy PC too, even though the graphics card makes Castle1C look like a disco. And the grappling hook seems to act weird.

I've noticed the grappling hook is bugged now. In previous versions you could just hang onto the ceiling and walls normally, but now you bounce around weirdly and stuff when you reach them, and when you stop holding the button, it flings you in the last direction you were bounced in.

hmm i dont think there where any changes on that, the new razz version is just a new Installer and the only thing that realy changed is that it automaticly connects to master.razzarena.da.ru (i replaced master.quake3arena.com with an hex editor)

so nothing changed about it.

Well obviously something DID.

Or YOU changed something, as no one else has had problems yet.

I've recently tried to re-acquire this game, and found the RA site is down and that Stijn's mirror no longer works. When I try to install the game via the .exe from Stijn's mirror, I get an error that the file might be corrupt, among other things.
Are there any other mirrors for Razz Arena 1.3, and if there are could someone please link to them?

ps: i am still downloading the files right now, when i finish i will put it online right away

edit: lol not that right away the rar file contains more than i tought, i need to order it a bit to make it more clear to some of you who just dropped in.

as you can see the rar says its version 1.29 thats becouse i made 1.30 without the source code (i used hexeditor) the only thing changed in the compiled files is the master server it connects to.

when i have some spare time on my hand i will learn C++ and start coding on the project hoping that i can be as good as McDougal :P
