i got a problem with the patch i keep getting a error, missing file water.j2b i had a backup of my old computer and copied it across to my new pc unfortunatley i cant reinstall jj2 because my cd is scratched to hell. what should i do?? my jazz2 version is 1.20.

Are you using shareware?

nop its not shareware version jus checking the thread ill take a screen shot of the main menu perhaps that could provide a answer
there is a screen shot of the main menu, 1.20 works online i had people connect to my server but i wanted to upgrade to the earliest version to play with more people. :EDIT: Can i still use all the maps that are available to download with my version??

you must be missing the beach tileset?
Btw i see you are useing a d-link.
i can't host games on it,and you can?
did you have any problems.

im only using a d-link wireless adapter my router is a netgear dg348g or something like that. jus my isp is aol.

i jus thought of a idea would the shareware demo have that tileset if so i could install that and copy and paste it from the shareware to my full version.

:EDIT: ok so i managed to grab a copy of game(loads of phone calls) but unfortunatley for me its the oem version 1.00h with no online capabilities.
now i have 2 versions 1.20 and 1.00h

If it's just one single file you're missing (water.j2b) your best bet is to ask around and see if anybody'd like to send it to you. You have the CD as it is, it's perfectly legal.
And yeah, you kinda need to upgrade to 1.23 in order to get the downloads here to work. The ones denoted with a Lori icon ( ) are 1.24 or TSF and won't work with 1.23. Just an advance warning.

yeah im searching ebay regulary to find a cd i currently am running 1.20 euope avs 1.00h oem copy. My 1.20 version came from my old old harddrive(windows 95) and i plugged it into my new pc to backup some old games/data. thanks a bunch for the help and advice.
