Well, the pose doesn't look painful to me, rather the anorexia.
But don't let my sarcasm throw you off... it's well made. Nice coloring. Could use more vivid colors on the hair that make it look less like it was a single mass... and, try covering the upper or lower half of her body with your hand and look at it... I'm not sure whether it's just me ( can't say I'm an expert on the anatomy of female shoulders, breasts and necks ), but the halves look a little like they don't belong together.

No. Elevator platforms give great support and it's all about the height between the heel and the sole. If those would kill ankles, I shudder to think what would happen with shoes constantly worn by strippers and porn stars.

I had an idea of drawing Lori a bit like that too a while back, but never pulled it off. At all. Well, I tried.

I am working on a picture with lori included but it isn't going well by the way and this gave me a bit of inspiration (thanks Dew cheers cheers) It's mostly the gun.
