Problems with gamecrashers :S
Hey Jazzgamerz,
I've got a question: Which anti crash programm works fine? I did try NeoAC but there was someone crashing my game :S (i read that there is a prog that bypass NeoAC?) Is there a up-to-date program that prevent crashing, spamming, ghosting and where u can ban people's IP? Please let me know.. Tnx for the help! Paul |

As far as I know NeoAC prevents long name crashes as well as some other protocol abuses, but those are only a few methods one can use to crash a server or otherwise disrupt the gameplay. Surely it's the best available method so far and I hope Mono gets to release future versions. I know its possible to bypass it and how to do it, but I've never heard of a program made specially to bypass it. If there is such thing then it's likely fairly recent. But technically you could use existing programs such as a packet editor to easily bypass it, if you know how to do it.

Currently, there are way too much crashers. yesterday my server was crahsed again (but it was only a trap, because i waited for the crasher - i knew that (s)he would come) - his / her ip adress was 83.15.164.61 - apprehendJJ2 didnt give me any useful information beside the IP adress.
btw, one of the crashers seems to be SlayerCC! Last edited by Jojo; Jan 1, 2007 at 08:35 AM. |

if Grytolle can make 1.24 crash protected, than Monolith should be able to make a 1.24 NeoAC too :S

So you have both the Carrotade exe and the dll in the same folder as your JJ2 exe, and you're sure you have version 1.24?
