If posts by random people who never show up again are any indication- More people than the JCF, or at the very least a larger amount of different people.

No, but I don't see any added value. J2O probably gets more visitors than the JCF and most events that are posted about on RabbitJournal also have a thread somewhere at the forum. What exactly would it improve on the current situation? All posts on RabbitJournal made recently that were worth promoting to the frontpage were eventually promoted, after all.

I think IconGuy has a point. While J2O as a whole gets more visitors (tho they might be less dedicated in some ways), I doubt that many visit Rabbitjournal, which is just a link on the frontpage that is easy to overlook.

This is true, but the point is, barely any RabbitJournal posts are made. Clan news or level news isn't posted there, for example, while it was meant to provide a venue for that.

There is also, like you mention, a divide between rabbitjournal and the JCF, with a measure of duplication.

While I think this suggestion has some theoretical merits, technologically I wouldn't know how it would work. The point about Rabbitjournal being at j2o is that rabbitjournal posts have the same importance as newsposts (when having been voted up) and it's integrated into J2O. That's a good thing, imho.

One thing I can think of is making it easier to make a RJ post for a JCF thread?

I visit jcf more as people don't upload things as good as they used to.

It's possible to link entries in the rabbit journal to a forum, as the thread and replies function is just the same. Many websites have their front page news posted in a forum and the main page updates from it.
