New JJ2 Blog
(This is a crosspost from RabbitJournal. If you like this, please vote for my post so it goes on the front page of J2O!)
http://jazz2.blogspot.com/ I have started a blog focused on JJ2, where I will be reviewing noteworthy JJ2 levels from throughout the history of the game. I'll try to update it at least twice a month, focusing mostly on single player episodes. At first I will be making posts on a chronological basis, starting with stuff from 1998 and working up to the present. Eventually I'll probably start deviating from that formula though. I'll also be using the blog to post about my own projects, though those posts will be done in a different way from the normal review posts. The first review is already up. I chose Wakeman's Peach Beach, since it's a very old level and I thought it would be a good starting point. Please tell me what you think of this, and what you think of the format of the reviews and so on. Posting comments on the blog itself will probably get my attention quicker (no need to register an account), but you can post comments here too. |

A while back I actually had a similar idea, but I was/am way too lazy to ever actually do it, so props to you for not being a bum. Or something.
Anyway, excellent work. |

You don't think the tilesets were used well? Well, I guess that's a matter of debate.

I posted a new review. The choice of level coinciding with the month is unintentional, I swear.

booooo scary ghost
Time for some thread necromancy
http://jazz2.blogspot.com/2008/05/re...o-station.html About a week ago I saw that some of the downloads on this blog were still getting hits, which meant that this thing still was getting traffic. Figured I might as well give it another shot so here it is. Today's review is Dino Station by Wakeman, a small, but very unique level. I've already got another review fully written and saved. It covers a level pack most of you have probably never even heard of. I'll post it once I do some more writing on the review after that. That way I can keep a sort of buffer of future posts, and maybe manage to keep this thing going for more than a few weeks...
