Splitting 2 Rocks/Big Crates

One of the most annoying things ive encountered in JJ2 are when you get 2 rocks/big crates too close together they are literally unsplittable. Today i was playing through NeoBeo's Firetruck, and i encountered the part where you must split the 2 big rocks to smash through into the frog area. This obviously means there is a way to split them. Can anyone enlighten me on splitting them apart?

Seriously though, did you try freezing and then pushing one of them? Can't try for myself now but that might work.

There are several freezers available so i assume it involes freezing, but freezing one and pushing did not work for me unless im rock pushingly challenged somehow (although, that wouldn't surprise me)

I think you have to get "inside" the rock by jumping on the same platform where the rock is from underneath. Then freeze one of them and give it a slight push, it will then slide on its own.

Yeah the only way to do this sort of thing is to get underneath them. Rocks are solid from the sides and above, but not from the bottom. Same applies to all other objects, like barrels and platforms, for example.
