[PC] Playing .mp4 files
Hello, fellow Jazzers. I have a little problem regarding my PC, mostly, my media player.
I've *cough*downloaded*cough* a couple of movies last week. I've tried watching a few .avi files, but both in WMP10 and in WinAmp, I only heard the sound. Then, I downloaded a program called GSpot which told me which codec to download for the .avi files. All works fine now. The same problem happened with a .mp4 movie file, but in GSpot, it tells me to get a codec which I can't seem to find. I was then redirected to download "ffdshow", but I haven't a single clue how this program works and I can't find a simple solution. Does anyone know a codec or maybe even a brand new media player to download which will play these .mp4 files? Thanks. |

VLC rocks. And for the codecs you can look up CCCP.

I tried VLC and I'm satisfied with the results. Thanks.
