What's your opinion about the Jackrabbits real size? In other word, how big or small are they? (of course, if they're exist. this post is just a imaginary! don't think about it too seriously.)

Here is some examples.

1. 32x48 pixels.



(But if they'll be.. I wonder about their intelligent. look at their brain's size..)



2. Common rabbit size.



(Well.. most of people will choose this one.. um.. just my opinion!..)



3. Same as a dog.



(This is also likely. at least, not impossible.. Maybe!..)



4. Same as a human.



(..If they're.. it'll be the best Controversial of Biology and.. Astronomy..)



5. Much bigger than human.

And I know from Lori Central that Lori's height is 5.4". I'm not exactly sure whether official details for Jazz and Spaz exist or not. I vaguely remember reading something either from the game, a manual, or a website.

I have measured Jazz in JJ2 and he's somewhere between 2 and 3.5 bananas including ears, depending on whether you use large or small bananas for scale. I'll lean towards the latter, given how the large ones are used as pickups and might have therefore been made larger in manifestation of artistic freedom in order to make them noticeable, while the smaller ones are used in a more realistic situation of monkeys throwing them at you. That said, 3.5 bananas converts to roughly 70 centimeters, 53 excluding ears. The average length of a corgi measuring from their shoulders to the set on of the tail is about 39 centimeters. Unlike dogs, Jazz Jackrabbit is bipedal so it's not exactly easy to compare them but if we measure his height the same way, we get 29 centimeters. If we include the head, it's 44 centimeters instead. Either way, I'd say that using this set of data, Jazz is comparable to a corgi.

That would be it if not the fact we actually have a piece of official information regarding heights in JJ2 world. The official data sheet for Lori Jackrabbit informs that she is indeed 165 centimeters tall. This obviously screws things up and suggests that JJ2 universe contains some huge ass bananas. Anyway, if we believe this source (as is Dean Dodrill), Jazz is probably about 130 centimeters tall instead (from feet to the top of his head). This is not quite the size of an average adult human and I'd say there are dogs like that. Either way the vague phrase as is "dog size" sounds the most acceptable.

Also, something I forgot -- having not read the JJ1 manual for a while -- is that Eva is quite a lot taller than Jazz.

So, based on this info, "Same as a dog" is about right.

Well, considering the size of the carrots...

Dogs vary in size. Some dogs are as small as rabbits, almost. Jackrabbits are slightly taller than rabbits, particularly when they are standing. 32x48 pixels is the size of their sprite, which is not truly realistic in the game.

Worth mentioning is also that if we use the screen located at Texas Motor Speedway to display a sprite that is 48 pixels in height, it will appear as 96-centimeter-tall.

It's fairly evident in JJ1, especially Holiday Hare outro.

I'm also leaning towards a headcanon that Jazz grew taller between JJ1 and JJ2, because of how his overall design changed.
