Question tileset
Is there any better program for making tilesets than paint, because paint cannot read the pcx tileset grid file. If there is, where I could download one?

any photo editing tool out there.

Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Photosuite, etc.

Scatman, IrfanView is a program made to VIEW images, like ACDSee. It doesn't have any tools to make tilesets with.

i know but you can convert *.pcx files to bmp and other file formats and it is the only program i know that is freeware and can open these

btw i got it for the same purpose as superjazz wanted it for, converting pcx to other formats

Disguise's Tileset Resource

This website by Disguise seems pretty good for tileset needs, and is under construction. Anyway click programs on the left, and try one of those programs.
