I just want to hear what you think about the importance of clanpages: are they useful or just a margin-gag?

My opinion? Err...I think they are necessary and useful. It's necessary for the representation of the clan and others can get information about the clan even if they don't see members.
Another fact is that the clan can be liked more, I think, if the page is good (btw: what about the [J2F]Clanpage

?).

They aren't important on JAZZ. Clans on Jazz appear and dissappear daily, it would be a total mess!

They are pretty useful to keep members informed on new events, such as clanwars.

They can also make it easy for interested people to join...

Anyways, yeah, clanpages are important, but not essential. What is essential though is a clan having a good way of keeping in touch. Webpages seem to do this nicely, but there are other alternatives such as ICQ blah blah.

I think clan sites aren't really necessary, because the most clans at JJ2 are dead after a few days. But it is very usefull for people who are looking for a clan to join. They can easily find more information about the clan etc..

Yes, Jojo's right: what makes a good Clanpage?I also think that making a good clanpage is easier in JJ2 than in, for example, UT. You don't need that great animations etc.

with a good clansite i dont mean the layout but:
many updates
many news
good messageboard
no useless information
and so on...

The layout of a site doesn't say much about it, more people will like it if it has got an nice layout though. It should be userfriendly, enough updates and so on.
