I couldn't sleep one night, so I crawled to the computer and attempted to draw my mood through an artist's block.

I know it's the worst I've done in ages, being all blurry and smudgy.. x.X She's been through pain, doesn't care, the world is all gone, all erased, it's so black and white. Just doesn't care anymore.... Too much Marilyn Manson for me, too much insomnia. That was originally intended to be blood on her lips as she was originally intended to be a vampire, but she didn't turn out quite like I wanted, so I deem her my mood at the time and I also deem her my character Disassociative. So that's smudged lipstick, y'all (I feel so Texan again). I'll probably re-do this sometime in the near future. (I actually had like, mild inspiration for this, Enayla's picture-- http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/558986. There is just something about pale, sexy guys in crimson coats with long black hair... :drools: lol.. well, I like it. :P)

Captain Spam was right, I'm starting to get used to your talents. I still think you're too good, though. As for your lack of confidence in the insomniac one (I woke up at 0300 this morning, I kinda know the feeling), it's kind of cool the way you did it. Looks like a gothic fashion model trying to make a point about make-up. Very inspirational.

However, if you really want it to look more like blood, you should have it running more from below her lip, even if she did later wipe it sideways. Just a thought.

Ah, yes, Aislinn... I've always had a thing for blue-skinned girls. Don't ask me why. *Sighs, thinking of Mira Nova*. That and dark, purple hair. *Thinks of Sailor Mars* *sigh*. *cough* Anyway, umm... yes. I like the blueness.

Your art is like.... Woah. The tutorial you made was cool and I agree with Spammy. The face paintings are awesome. Why would you slip out of art and go to Dark room photography? ;P You can do both, or switch off between the two, can't you? ((I'm looking forward to either, anyways.))

Great work. I don't know why you are dissatisfied with the first one, I think it's sweet. And the Enayla one reminds me of The Crow.

*winks* I think I commented on the Aislinn picture at DevArt...which is probably my favorite out of the three (not that the others aren't good, but for some reason Aislinn looks really spiffy). ;-P
