Logicware is very annoying. Our server lists all ways go down! I wonder what would happen if the provider of Counter-Strike servers shut down. Some people would probably commit suicide. Anyway, can we pay Logicware more to make our servers stay up all the time?

I don't think Logicware goes down all that often. And we won't pay them a cent, since we know how to create our own listservers.

Uh..there are alot companies for CS who host those things :P, and Yes ..logicware isnt down that often.

I say it isn't bad for a company that's no longer in business. Epic on the other hand, needs to get the main server list back up.

Logicware is bankrupt. The company no longer exists. One person, on completely his own will and only to be nice to a community he is not even part of, maintains it. There are much worse situations we could be in if it was not for Burger. He does a fine job considering everything.

Didn't the listserver move, to Contrabandgames.com or something of the sort?

Yes, they did; however, the Contraband servers seem to point to the list server still at Logitech. Both were down. Contraband is a small company and is not dedicated to hosting servers like Logitech is; it is just the server that Burger has put it on because he works there.

The Logicware servers are down rather rarely.

Also, my response to Newspaz's first reply is that although we can have our own listservers, it would be a huge inconvenience if we were forced to.
