Perhaps it is for people who actually play the game instead of trying to look "trendy" by saying it is old. Oh, and it has been done every year, for your information.

Darker seems to really think that JJ2 is going to die soon and we should all stop playing. Why should we stop something that is fun because the game is old? I was ince chating with Darker and he said the game would die in a year or two.

About your last sentence, darn dude your tilesets are loved by the community. What are you talking about? That darn Hotel Hero tileset has been really spiffy and popular lately, i'm using for Hotel Tublear 7. If you want to give up on the community, then the community will give up on you. Ad for me, whenever I get off my lazy butt I will finish the JCS tutorial and Aerial Precision. And Krezack if you're bragging about Diablo 2 so much, why are you still posting in this forum of this message board? Shouldn't you be posting on the Diablo 2 section of te Blizzard message board? Or you may be doing both...

Dude who really cares. It's a cool, free tournament. And the prize is basically honor/bragging rights. I just thought they started the tournament a little too late, which imo they should've waited till next year. The tournament should've started around early June

Wrong. WC3 is .

Anyways: the main use of JDC is, in my view, bringing "old" people back to JJ2. E.g., I played like no JJ2 before between season 7 and 8, but now I play again. Because when JDC is running, I know that others, with who I could have some cool duels, are online as well.

fdf. Pwned.

Uh... are we supposed to care what your opinion of JDC is, much less what your opinions of Dubya, Bolivia, cardboard, or Broccoli are? For crying out loud, if you don't actually want to play in JDC, just leave it at that. We don't really need to hear you whine and moan about it, you know. Also, your VCR is most distressing.

Better yet, we should all be playing something like PacMan, or Pong. Pwned. ;-P

A note to Tublear: Disguise was being sarcastic

And if JDC is participated in, that alone makes it not pointless. If the new JDC season started and nearly no one was participating, then maybe your comments would have credibility. Moreover, what Velka said.

Besides, I love old games that no one is playing. Being 5+ years behind means a lot of the good games of that day and age cost less and have lesser standards for computer usage (which is great when your computer sucks as badly as mine). The fact that Jazz is still being played and has a tight community 5 years after it was released shows something. You can't predict when it will die, either, because a new wave of players will form when the older ones of this time stop playing.

My grandma is old, too! Oh no! I have to put her out of her misery! It is time I took her to the vet to be put down and get a new puppy instead.

My goodness, Darker. Are you jelous that we still have fun with old things even when newer things are avilable? There is plenty of good stuff in the past. In a matter of fact, the past is full of wonderful things that benifit the present. Those old games may not have up to date graphics or features, but the gameplay is solid. Besides, there is a beauty in simplicity.

Also, I am not saying this because I can't play newer games. My computer can handle any new game you throw at it without flinching. I'm currently working on collecting classic computer games. Good stuff.

That's not a game, that's a program designed to freeze a computer.

EDIT: In fact, it's not even a program, thefore, not a game.

Strange. I wonder what I was doing with a Diablo 2 disc in 2000, eh? I'm rather sure it came out 4 to 5 years ago, especially considering I can certainly remember playing it in 2000.
