The J2vf

Hello, i post this in the article section too.

You guys know (i think) about J2lc,
a club that's making levels and stuff
for Jazz jackrabbit 2,
but you hear nothing more about it,
so, i have some idea, a new club of course.
I call it J2vf, that means Jazz 2 vipsy factory
(Nice name), and i make a account that calls that name.
If you want to make levels and stuff and
you want to make yourself more popularity with your stuff
(of Jazz jackrabbit 2 of course), you can join,
You can join if you can make normal or good (of course)
tileset's, levels, music, utility, ect.
Utility is hard to make, so you realy don't have to make it,
If you have a level (ect), Email it to me, and
i set it on the J2vf account with your name.
Are you intrested? post here a comment or Email me.

Here is my Email adress: Vip_jazz2online@hotmail.com
Enjoy

Why is there a sudden burst of clans and groups with people's screen names in them? I mean, first there is the (failed) Stud Clan, and now this.

Two is not a "burst". Maybe a "pop", but not a "burst".

Tell me why making levels and stuff in a group is better than making levels on your own.

You have the steps wrong. First, you prove that you are a good leader or a good levelmaker or a good tilesetmaker, and then you organize something like this.

EDIT- and besides, clans have a extremly low survival rate, and level making groups seem to have an even lower one, or we would be up to our knees in level making groups.

I'm having difficulties seeing where this relates to the improvement of the JCF. You might want to suggest this here instead (but please don't double post; this is for future reference, as an administrator will probably move your thread for you):

http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/forumdisplay.php?f=5

It is an entire forum specifically for JCS and JCS-related activities, probably including program development to some tangential extent.

I wish you the best of luck with your project. It's always nice to see more levelmaking groups on the field.

The rules are chanched,

don't have too email them.

2: This must be set by your level name: ''J2vf: Mylevel'',
and you don't need too do this: ''J2vf: Mylevel :Myname''.

J2LC is still alive. There is really no need for this mediocre level group, but I won't and can't stop you. However, I advise that you change your group's name to something a little less like the J2LC and without your name in it. I mean, you just demoted yourself anyway, so...

Well, the two groups do seem to have differing standards. From what I have seen the J2LC isn't taking any new members and dosen't accept tilesets. I am debating if I should give the J2vf some of my unreleased tilesets in a pack.

We are always happy to take more members to our group or to take some works, actually on begining I was thinking about some TilesetGroup , but then I met Vipsy (Niek) and we have a J2VF, well the group is new so don't expect miracles, but I know that J2VF will change (maybe even it won't be a J2VF anymore) -I will see - I can't change anyrthing now cose I'm only a 2nd Admin.

OK. I have a pack ready, with 4 tilesets and a catchy name. Can I submit it without being a formal member?

Can you not merely continue in this topic instead of creating inefficient redundancy, such as the phrase 'inefficient redundancy'?

I don't think you understood the point of funding a level group, infact you confused it with the concept of having just a common gaming clan. Level groups are truly about teamworking between members, cooperative effort to reach a goal such as level packs, projects, ect. They are also used to 'filter out' worse level makers. Groups like that are often made up between friends who wants to show their teamwork, not just random groups of people saying: "Hey let's make a group so we get cool tag and we link our levels together =DDDD". Of course there's nothing going to stop you from doing so, but do not expect people will take your group as J2LC.
