Jazz Jackrabbit more popular than ever...
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 : The Secret Files are being illegally distributed through peer to peer networks. Not naming names as Fquist will edit and possibly close post. An illegal warez distributor has distributed the LK Avalon version of the Jazz 2 TSF cd and more than 230 people have the game now!!!! (not really sure why I posted this, just wondering why theirs so many players and why they arent on-line)

They aren't online simply because jazzjackrabbit.com offers no useful information, the epic servers are permanetly down, and Epic no longer supports Jazz2 but still likes to lust their right to own it but do nothing with it.

We should spread a txt file in the archives telling them to go to jazz2online.com.
![]() Joke, just kidding. But honestly it can't hurt Epic's income that much since they don't seem to take responsebility for it any more. |

Ya know, it's nice that more people are getting to experience Jazz 2. Unfortunately, if they're not finding the new server lists, and they don't pay for their games, they can't help build the community of online players OR encourage the development of new Jazz games with their buying power. Nice for them, but totally useless for anyone else.

The game has been on the p2p networks for a long time now. It was submitted to a site were millions of people get special links so they can download illegal software through there p2p programs.

lol, this community is the only thing keeping th Jazz 2 servers up. To other people who buy the game, it will appear that there is no online play and they own some useless piece of crap that does nothing but play a crappy single player campaign.
That's where I come in. I am going to sign up on every p2p network, download every file and every version and everything Jazz they have on there. Then I'm going to put a readme that tells them how to get online. Then we will have some n00bs to w1p3 up on. Even though I don't play anymore. You guys will have some n00bs to w1p3 up on I suppose. |

I'm sure that some people will search for "jazz jackrabbit" on the Internet if they love (what) they just downloaded. Btw it's harder to find on FastTrack clients.

What about changing nick to "jazz2online.com" on peer-to-peer networks?
