Thank you for reading.

I was wondering, can anyone give me the tilesets from Holiday Hare 98 through a server? My dad says I can't download anything from here, so I have to get it through a server.

Thank you.

Either he means you can't download peer-to-peer, or he means you need to use a proxy server. If you can't download peer-to-peer, it shouldn't matter. Anything you find on a regular website is already on a server. If you can find a copy of HH98 (it's shareware, I believe) it will come with all of the tilesets it uses, so you'll have what you need.

If you're behind a firewall that won't let you download *anything*, I'm not sure how a proxy server would help. Unfortunately, I can't really help you with firewalls, but there might be someone here who can, if that's what you need. Try looking for a copy of Holiday Hare 98 on a website first, and if that's not any good, ask your dad for more information about your system/network/firewall.

Am I right in assuming your dad does not want you downloading files from websites, but is pretty sure files downloaded by JJ2 are safe?

What I meant was my dad said that I can'r download anything from j20, since we got a virus that said "Hello, Jazz" and doesn't want to take chances.

And I looked up HH98, and I found no demo (You have to BUY it ).

So if anyone has a copy of HH98 and is willing to share the tilesets, host a CTF server holding levels made with the HH98 tilesets. Host as 'HH98 Tilesets' and the password as 'RatBot'. Thank you.

Overlord's Rabbit Honor Guard uses levels with the HH98 tilesets. Look in the links section of J2O and you can access his homepage and download them from there.

How do I get the tilesets? All I got in the zip was a file called setup.002.

I think there should be an install file that extracts everything. I haven't downloaded RHG in a while (I've downloaded it about three times in this life), so I don't remember.

*looks both ways then inserts every virus known to man into the tileset, each tile cooresponding to a different monstrosity to your computer*

Impossible. I once had an installer for HH98 exactly the same as for TSF and JJ2. Maybe it wasn't a demo, but HH98 was a "demo" right? It told you to buy JJ2.

It is confusing: Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Holiday Hare '98 (v1.23x) was a U.S. only Christmas promotion Jazz Jackrabbit 2 v1.23 "demonstration" (NOT a downloadable demo as software). Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - The Christmas Chronicles was a modified European version (Poland & The Netherlands) of HH98 and was the same as above - no downloadable demo. So you actually went to a shop and bought a "promo demo" of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (v1.23), right?
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - The Secret Files (v1.24) was a European (it got to the U.S.?) stand-alone "add-on" or "expansion" to v1.23. It included all the v1.23 episodes (5), the "Shareware Demo" episode (included in all versions no matter demo or full), the "Holiday Hare '98" episode and a brand new episode called "The Secret Files" with 9 levels.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

TSF does not include all 1.23 episodes. Sometimes you buy TSF with 1.23 together.

TSF doesn't come with HH98, either.

I probably did so. Maybe it's because I merged the Jazz versions to an "Ultimate TSF" with 7 (8 - home cooked) episodes.
