If everything goes as supposed, Devil Dash episode 1 should be uploaded on 12th June. I'm currently just adding more and more secrets and making the cutscenes (bah, I'm really lazy at this one). Remember, I'm still waiting for help with J2E, but if everything else will be done in time except for that, DDep1 will be released as loadable from Home Cooked Levels list, and a patch with J2E would be uploaded later on (if it would ever come to this). Whew, once that's done I think I will look for more people to help on episode 2, otherwise DD won't be finished until 2010.

Hey, it's 10th June and you probably guess that's there's only 3 days left. Well, NO. Yeah, it may look for you like Devil Dash is going on like Daikatana or Duke Nukem Forever... However, it's none of that. I can explain you the another delay...

I've found a help with the J2E file(s). Black Ninja, who offered his help, isn't too fast in the cooperation (the last message I recieved was that he must look for what should be the size of needed images and it was a few weeks ago), so as for now I really can't telll when we'll be done. But if there is a chance, I won't give up and will wait.

Meanwhile, the last level was completely remade. It was too simple before. Now the drama has increased, giving the player a better feel of the story, of being in it. Who knows what more can be done while there's still some time to wait?

Also, the cutscenes are still unfinished. In fact, only the intro has been partially made. The rest remains untouched as for now. But, keep in mind, intros and outros of DD are not made in a sucker tube style (like for example the "outro" of Hocus Pocus conversion by Violet CLM) and they need a lot of time to spend on. However, the work goes on almost all the time. Didn't you notice that lately there were no news about Jazz VS Sonic, Guilty Gene, or even the JSZ clan? I'm now completely focused on Devil Dash to finish the first episode as fast as possible, not losing it's outstanding quality. So as for now, the next date of premiere of episode 1 is unknown. I'll tell you all as soon as I precise it. This time, being completely sure of what I'm saying.

I'm not quite sure what the point of those screenshots is. We already all have those tilesets, and they don't show anything all that interesting. I could get cooler looking stuff from levels made years ago, really.

Yes. I wanted screenshots that obviously had something to do with the pack, though, be it storyline, level design, new tilesets, or whatever. That's why screenshots from Tomb Rabbit 2 are always so cool - we have not seen them countless times before.
