Forwarding ports for hosting on conexant routers..?
Okay, so today since I've managed to find the manual and password for the configuration of the router, I decided to try forwarding ports in order to fix the hosting problem I have on jj2, although, that didn't work for me, but the server did view on the server list, but the problem is, that it is pinging.
I am not sure if I am using a router or gateway, but I'm pretty sure it's a combination of both. Router: Conexant (mode Annex_A) OS: Windows XP Professional Connection type: ADSL LAN Network: 2 Computers, and I am trying to host on the main one (the one that has the router connected to it) No firewall used, either. The problem is that when I host, it shows on the server list, and it pings instead. (No time out, though), although I can join fine. This is what the setting for the special programs thing on the router looks like, though..: http://www.freewebs.com/bassraccoon/...5Fscrnshot.JPG
