Is that one Did You Know on J2O true? That Jazz was originally called like Wobble and Ockles or something, but they changed the name after someone's dog? Idk, I see it all the time and I never know if it's a joke or not.

I have no idea, but it might be interesting to know that Wubbo Ockels (the name mentioned in the DYK) was a Dutch astronaut.

I heard it from some other source, so I guess it's true. It was supposed to be some arcade game about a kickass astronaut and stuff... but then they were like "omg look this rabbit is cursing and drinks and uses guns" and went on Jazz (named after some dog of some guy).

Before CliffyB designed the Jazz character, JJ1 was called "Vertigo" and starred a spaceman... where the detail of the name of the spaceman comes from, I forget.
