Question Macintosh Gamepad Problem

Hi,

I'm trying to get a standard USB gamepad working on Jazz 2 for Mac. The joystick works with other games and does not need drivers or anything.

Any advice? Thanks!

Did you update to the latest version? I don't think so, because 1.2.5 seems to have had some problems with non-standard input devices.

1.2.8 Also supports MaxOS X!

Thats a good question. I should have said I only had the demo. I-emailed Logicware and asked if they still sold it. I'm really curious. the demo works great on my mac, minus the gamepad support.

If anyone still sells the game it would be www.ifd.com. However, I think they sold all of their copies of jj2. But, they are very friendly there and it never hurts to ask.

Actually now we're talking about it. I emailed them last night. And they're selling the game for about 15 dollars a piece. However, it is a download-version. So you won't get a CD. :-(

Burger from Contrabandent is also able to sell you versions of JJ2 for Mac, perhaps even with the cd and box If your interested. (He is the one who ported it from PC to Mac)

OK, I have the full version now. The joystick works in Classic mode but not in X(Cabron?) mode. Classic mode's frame rate is crap.

Any ideas on how to get the X version to see the gamepad? I downloaded the lastest update with the link you gave me but I notice it still says "1.22" at the main menu. Is that normal?

Thanks again,
-Josh
