Well, I thought about a new tournamet, but it will work in a diffrent way. It would test CTF skills of the clans. And how ? You're going to play on unknown maps. These maps are going to made by us (JSZ). We're only going to tell you where the bases in those maps are, and here you go. Though, we don't know how many maps we should make, and if there is a pont in making this tournamet. Please post in this topic if your clan would like to participate in this tournament.

What if the maps are horribly unbalanced?

Yeah. It's kind of hard to judge quality without actually seeing the level. I would need to see some example CTF level first.

@Blurr: ^ Lookie. And about test level: We've diffrent styles, so it would be.. kinda hard to make. I can only say that : I make dynamic level's , Jazz's are filled with some traps that can slow you down, and Scion's... they look like a single player level.

Those are not CTF levels, so we still can't judge if they will be unbalanced or not. CTF level creation needs some other skills than making battle or race levels.

Even if, there are going to be two rounds, so clans will switch sides.

The idea is interesting, but might be hardly adapted. Maybe if we get some experienced betatesters...

But after one round both teams will know the level and can make up strategies, so it would still be unfair.

Every round could use different maps, that would be quite a few maps tho'. Maybe not only JSZ members should make levels.

And trusted betatesters/mappers... think what it would be, if someone would give our maps away to someone.

No, I don't think so. Experienced ones are reliable.

The fact that levels are filled with traps isn't good. Traps are good in Single Player, but definitely not in CTF. CTF levels with a Single Player layout aren't the best. I never saw a level with this kind of layout. And almost everyone in this community plays 1.23, so make the levels 1.23.

I did not see any traps. Either Mat is hiding something or he lies.

I meant that... hm... dunno how to say it :P Spring between columns, and something like B1 "bunker" that make a short way a little bit longer.
