well people first of all there was an offensive image but now that we all know whatas goin on and some peops agreed to stop i have folted tghe imaage and now , and now lets all work on this anti bully\racist thing we are a comunity so lets do something against this problem driving our comunity apart

This post is quite confusing and the image does not load. It barely makes any sense. The gist however, seems to be that people keep using jew and the offensive n word towards black in jokey (faux?) racist ways to upset Shaney. This is behaviour that should be below JJ2 users.

The image will load for me and I can see one player with a really long name (Jewish (-)) spread across the screen and the F9 list.

Following him to JJ2 isn't such a smart idea. Picking specifically on someone, and ruining his game is no better than making life sour for everyone online. I'm afraid all I can do is condemn the action, because there's no way of finding out who this person/people are.

I know about the person in that picture, and I know that nothing offensive is intended by it. It's just a name he used to describe himself. Not as a general attack on jews.

Hmm, in light of this, I can't say that this can't be just a coincidence, but shaney has previously posted a topic (now deleted) about others calling him offensive names like that shown in the screenshot.

Ok, shaney I apoligize for my poor attempt at adding light to the conversation. I now understand the qoute "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is probrally a duck" is not real well known anywhere outside of my area.
And people outside of my area probrally do not find any version of it funny.
I however deny your claims it was directed at you.

See the thing is around here when someone says that, everyone sees it as a joke. Apparently over there it's different. And if you took it personally you should have asked me about it during that chat, not 4 days later in a different channel.

This sort of trolling is an ongoing problem in #jj2, and not limited to shaney. It's sad to see it now entering the game and the community in general.

I would like to officially apologise to anyone I have offended with any sort of joke of this sort in #jj2, or wherever. Any use of this was for provocation, not out of racism. But, in any case, this offends people, so I should not have been doing it. Sorry.

Shadow is totally right.
Nazi camps were horrible places, I can't understand how people can makes jokes about it. I was in Oswiecim ( and some other camps too ), when you cross the gate with inscription: ‘Arbeit macht frei’, you can’t stay indifference. Now, before you say some 'funny joke' about it, think first.

Normally I'm 100% tolerant but even a small form of nazism is where I draw the line. It's just completely wrong to make fun of people for their beliefs.

What ever he says, insults or does. It is still no reason to put Nazism or any references of the holocaust into it, try to be a man and take him on a personal way.

I didn't understand this at all. Do you mean "It's offending, rat him out, and I'll forgive you? Even if it's not offending and find it to be no problem you can... {blame Danjyel?}."

And, if that's what you meant, I'm not going to say who it was, since no offence or racism was implied by anyone but you, I'd say you are overreacting. Especially since the person was describing HIMSELF, and not attacking or intending to offend ANYONE.

If someone's being collectively bullied it's in everyone's interest to care. It does not cause a healthy community to have someone unable to go anywhere without getting insulted. Since people in your clan have quite some part in this situation at times, it would be constructive for you to post some statement against the general bullying, which is going way too far.

Erm, wait a second. I never said anything about the holocaust or about nazism in general. Ofcourse that's wrong, and I really think those kind of comments are going way too far.
I merely quoted, and referred to, the post prior to mine, which was about me stealing his display photo at MSN and using it myself. I have no reason to take him on a personal way, since we're friends, and I'm only supporting him in this case.

People in my clan have been rather nice towards him lately. In fact, Shaney and I have even briefly spoken about him rejoining the clan. I'm sure there are plenty of places in this community where he can go without getting insulted. For example, we protect him well at our IRC channel or our forums.



However, as I already spoke about with Nimrod regarding the list servers; I do think it's wrong that he takes matters into his own hands, by crashing servers after he feels he has been the victim of nazism, racism or anything. He makes a big mistake there, especially when he crashes the servers of innocent people.
