Where did you buy JJ2? How much did you buy it for? When did you buy JJ2?
Three simple questions...I bought JJ2 at Best Buy in 1998 for $29.95
It's amazing how low the price has dropped since then, lol. And that people care about people who don't download the game.

I got Polish TSF as a bday present in 2000. A few years later an amazing 1.23 copy from an amazing levelcreator came to me.

Bought it at an abandoned computer shop with old (and mostly crappy) games for 2$.

Got JJ2 as my 12th birthday present in August 1998. Man, I was excited
![]() ![]() I don't remeber clearly when I bought TSF. Was is released in spring 1999? I think that was the case. I bought TSF in Helsinki, from a computer games shop called Dose. It wasn't expensive, but not cheap either. About 25 euros. Anyway, I think it was worth the money. I supported the JJ2 development team and got some most beautiful Epic tilesets made to the game ![]()

When I got it the first time, my mate had a CD with JJ2 on it. (Just a random game CD) The game got removed from the computer several times. But... another mate of me bought 1.20 and TSF together for €5 I suppose. And so I got both games. But... the game got removed from the computer again. I downloaded 1.23 from a site. The game got removed again, but I had the setup. I still have the game, and btw... when I first got it, it was in 2001 I believe. Or 2002.

A friend of mine bought 1.23 from a GAME shop and it turned out it was the American version. However, I later installed it from his CD. I got TSF from my other friend who downloaded it somewhere.

Surprisingly, I bought my copy of TSF (which also had 1.23 included for FREE [and the game box took a lot of care in order to get that message across]) in a Swedish bookshop in 1999 for my 11th birthday and it cost about 200 kronor (due to the astronomical rates of Swedish inflation, I am not quite sure how much 200 kronor is at the moment, but back then, it was equvalent to about £18). For some obscure reason, I started playing, had my fun, and then left because I found the game boring. For an even more inexplicable reason, I came back to haunt you guys!!!!

I got JJ2 in 1998 in exchange for being good at the dentist. This was, of course, after having downloaded the demo when it came out, and having had JJ1/CD/HH94/HH95 for years.

I received the game Christmas 1998, purchased from the local Electronic Boutique.

Had played the demo for a while(of course, after I had gotten tired of HH94/95 and the JJ1 demo) and bought 1.20 it the second I saw it at a store(I belive Media Play or something like that name).
I downloaded TSF in early 2004, bought the Jazz CD at a garage sale sometime after that. Got JJA from Amazon in October after my birthday gift of 200$ to amazon.com, I had downloaded the rom sometime at an earlier date. EDIT- Got Holiday Hare 98 on Ebay from a guy who wrote a Jazz 1 strategy guide sometime in late 98/early 99. |

I still remember this exactly.
I was at my best friend's house, and mother came in her car to take me with her to her brother, who used to know a lot about computers. When we were there, he demonstrated to us a CD full of games which he might or might not have gotten illegally. Anyway, after showing us the joys of shooting helpless little creatures in Unreal, he let me play this game called Jazz2 which I first had no interest in because I'm not awfully musically talented. But as fate wanted it, I loved it. Sooo, I got the CD and played stuff, then went online some day, downloaded levels and loved it even more, made levels, and wanted to marry it. Sometime later I purchased a package of JJ2 and TSF for.. I dunno, but it was quite little. 5 Euros or so. No idea when this was, either, but I believe that time I got the CD from an uncle was even shortly before the actual release date, which strengthens my belief that it was illegal.

Today, we have all come here, to celebrate the marriage between Fawriel and JJ2.
Fawriel, do you swear to stay faithful to JJ2 and always help her/it/whatever in all situations until the end of your live? Yes? And do you, JJ2, swear to stay faithful to Fawriel and always help him Yes? Then, you are now officially Man and.. er.. whatever. You can now kiss the bride.

I remember it like it was recently.
I got HH'98 first at an old store called Zainy Brainy, thinking it was all of Jazz2 in addition to the HH'98 levels. I got it cheap, so I didn't care. I got JJ2 second, about 3 days later from Amazon.com for about $20. I got TSF sometime in 2002-2004 on Ebay, though I don't for how much. Last edited by Sonyk; Mar 24, 2005 at 03:25 PM. |

Apparently, Jazz2 sounded like some kind of jazz composing program. You know, jazz, the music?

(Gotta love forgetting things.;p )

I'm playing Jazz longer than JJ2 cause when i was little i got the demo of Jazz1 from a PC Format magazine. After that i also got the Holiday Hare series of Jazz1. And pretty quick after that i saw The full version of Jazz1 on vacation in germany
![]() Then at the release day of Jaz2 i got it at intertoys , i think most people got the purple box that included Jazz1. But since i already had that version i got the one with only Jazz2. Man it rocked. I played for a really long time and when i lost interest i suddenly saw TSF in a store in 1999!! And now im waiting for Jazz 1.25 and Jazz3 :P |
