Question help!! i've got problems with connecting

i have done everything what is told here on the website. i have even configering my router and my gateways and even then it won't work. all the server patches are installed
WHAT CAN THIS BE

Could you explain the exact problem? There's a lot of internet related problems that JJ2 could potentionally have.

He times out when joining a game, the people inside cannot see him, nor can he see the people.

he can host games!
runs a webserver.
tried the tutorial on j2o.
and he forwarded the ports 10052-10054

He could try describing how he opened the ports, what settings he exactly applied, what router/gateway he uses, etcetera. That way people can check if he applied the settings correctly.

i have a alcatel speedtouch 500 series modem/router and a linksys befw11s4 gateway i have forward the ports 10052-10054 i have no firewall running or any other application that can blok this ports so...
the firewall in the modem is off
i even used programs to tunnel the ports but still without succes
is this enough information?

Be sure that you're also forwarding 10052 UDP and 10054 UDP, the lastest firmware for that router has a drop down list to protocols to forward, selecting the both option should work.

there is no both option but i have 2 entries one for udp and one for tcp
and i have the latest firmware
