JJ2 is really going to the dogs.

Power abuse, uncontrollable crashers, unfair bans... I'm amazed people still hang around here.

You provide very little material to discuss. This is an exagerated thread probably at least partly based on your #jj2 ban and your "ban" from the fake philosophical tournament. JJ2 isn't going to the dogs just because you get banned from #jj2 (because you did not listen to the ops, which you should have) and because you didn't properly read the full philosophical tournament thread (which is a *joke*) to see that everyone without a team got "banned".

As for "uncontrollable crashers", there's no "uncontrollable" here. Security tools are being released and being created. Just because PE can't stop them doesn't mean they're uncontrollable.

If you had read my message properly, I also said power abuse and uncontrollable crashers... also unfair bans including JJ2 Listservers, #jj2, other stuff.

If you would follow things properly before making statements about them, you would have known Jerry got banned for crashing with ASD *without* permission from the host for a *malignant* purpose. He actually admitted it, too. Uncontrollable crashers - read my edited message. I don't know what difference you see between power abuse and unfair bans here - and I covered those. I read your message properly, but it's mostly devoid of arguments, I'm sorry.

Even if Jerry got banned for a bad reason, a few unfair bans or bans aimed at you don't kill off JJ2. It does not revolve around a few individuals (not around you, too).

They're also aimed at other people. Oh, and the story I heard was that jam was hosting and Jerry client, jam was researching and asked Jerry to use ASD... edited out.

Nowhere does it say posting without a team was BANNABLE. There wasn't even a ban list before that... how strange. I could of AT LEAST been reminded I needed a team, not banned straight away...

If you have examples of other people, you haven't mentioned them. I don't really know what's there to discuss in this thread. Its topic is overblown. This is an amateur community. There's bound to be some power abuse and mistakes made - you haven't mentioned any - but that won't exactly make it go to the dogs. Crashers aren't uncontrollable either, so there's nothing to worry about.

Sorry, but I can't see how banning you from a random IRC channel and a fake tournament kills JJ2.

Regarding server crashes, I haven't seen any since NeoAC was released.
