Animation Compiler, anyone?

I just saved a whole lotta PNGs as I had to white-be-gone them first. I went to fetch my trusty animation GIF compiler and the Recycle Bin was empty. Argh.

So does anyone have a link for an GIF animation compiler that can compile PNGs?
Thanks.

This url has a list of PNG-supporting programs, but I could not find any GIF-animation utilities on it.

Can you convert all PNGs to GIFs using ImageMagick/some batch converter and then make an animation out of them?

You could always batch-convert them to something else first. If you don't have a batch convertor, then do this:

Grab bmp2png/png2bmp, and save png2bmp in the same folder as the images. Opan a command prompt and change to the folder with the images. Run png2bmp *.png and wait for it to finish. Then use whatever tool you normally use to make a animated gif out of the .bmp files.

That did absolutely nothing. Argh.

Flash is great for compiling images to Gifs. Just find someone with Flash and tell them to do it for you.

Odd, works perfectly here. You did run the command in the directory with the pictures? Remember, it converts from png to bmp, not to gif.

And you have to run it from the (dos) commandline with the argument Boggy gave.

Can you be more specific than "it doesn't work"?
