Arrow need help reinstalling jj2

well, i dun know if this is the right place to post this but i do need some help... you know, i installed the patch 1.24 and everything was working fine... but my hard disk space was getting smaller because of the huge amount of tilesets i had for some home cooked levels... so i decided to uninstall jj2, erase those tilesets and reinstall jj2... THE PROBLEM IS THAT NOW I CAN INSTALL JJ2... a message appears saying that there is a newer version installed and that it can't overwrite it because the installer is 1.20 and not 1.24......... what can i do???? i have even uninstalled Christmas Cronicles and TSF!!!! and nothing seems to work..

Please help me and tell me how can i uninstall JJ2??!!! i wanna play again!

You do not need to use the installation program provided with your CD of jazz2. Instead, just copy and paste the files directly from the CD to your hard drive. That should work just fine. You should run the old version and go through all of the menus and whatnot before patching it, however. You may also need to change the file access properties so that they are not read-only or archives, I don't remember, but that doesn't really directly relate to your problem anyway.

Bottom line, copy the files from the CD to the old folder.
