The "Freeze" should always be called either Freezer or FrostBiter... The "Purple Flare Gun" is actually called ElectroBlaster, as far as I know... Then again, "Gun9" is probably the best known name to it... Oh, never even mind...

If you want to get technical, it's Blaster, Blue Bullet Bouncer (BBB), Frostbiter, Missile Launcher, RF Missile Launcher, Toaster, TNT, Pepper Spray, Electro-Blaster. In this case, though, I think we could all recognize the weapons, although "purple flare gun" is a new one.

Toaster. It lasts a longer than the other weapons, and is fun for running randomly back and forth across battle levels.

Violet, we don't want to be technical. It's the Purple Flare Gun.

My opinion has changed once again. Judging from the previous polls, I went from bouncers to seekers and now to RFs.

I like the blaster, I have singlehandedly blasted my way through every single episode and level of Jazz, except when I've needed to blast through blocks. It wasn't always easy, but I *love* that infinite ammo feature.

RFs, great area of direct damage and has splash damage (Jazz 2 is probably the only platformer with the concept of splash damage). Not overpowered like seekers, but if in skilled hands can kill very easily.

Meh, bouncer needs much more love. RFs are straightforward and for being a 'favorite' weapon people do not use them the most. They can be used for some nice tricks but are only used for specific situations. Not to mention they can blow you off course if you make a mistake.

Seekers are deadly and considered the cheapest weapon in the game by lesser skilled players, but they will soon learn they they lack range and that there are better weapons out there, still, seekers are used the most for their homing aspect.

Now Bouncers are what I would consider the best weapon. They have range, and since they don't execute on impact they can be used to shoot down in straight passages or used to ricochet off walls, very effective. It's also the only weapon that can reach a player lower than you. Like rfs, a few tricks can be performed with them and can even make electroblaster useless, unless the walls are too thick.

I actually DO use RFs very often. =D Blowing off your own self might be an issue, but practice makes perfect.
