How fast do you think the jazz2 community is progressing, e.g expoiting the games security,decent tilesets levels,new and better utilitys for the games,etc

Its progressing in the wrong way a lot of the times.

Time should not be spent finding how to get round security.

Thats my biggest annoyence at the moment, too many people spending time to make the 'fun' aspect of the game disappear. Can be difficult to host a server these days, without people coming in expoilting..

Fixing security holes is always better than security through obscurity... though I agree it's pretty time-consuming.

the jazz 2 community could really use some more programmers in it. it also needs to stop the secret organizations that are run to hack the game. if it wasn't for that, we'd be doing just fine. probably would already have our own copy of jazz3 released if it wasn't for having to build neoac, filters for wpe, and all that jazz. I mean yea it's nice tht the new dedicated server's being built, but if it werent 4 the hackers, we'd hav had it build probably about 5 friggin years ago.

You don't know how right you are.
Secret hackers,are just sad and never share with the community,if I could program I would always give out code's and stuff to the community.

Grytolle and most of the J2NSM members actually post their inventions on public websites, so your point is?

lol, and if it wasn't for crashers (like Orbitz ~~and Drmoo himself several times~~ it would have been way further too.
There also are no secret "hackers" rofl.
Anyways, I think we'll get past the "crashing wave/protecting wave" quite soon by now. Since somewhat every way of crashing has been found. (and is protected by NeoAC)
Anyways, after this JJ2 will probably become better and better (like the server thing Overlord posted.) I'm looking forward for those things. I'm looking forward to see how far jj2 is in one year
