I miss Jazz Jackrabbit!
Man, I played online ever since I was like 8 and I was playing the original ever farther back. I used to get so into it, and I made all these friends, and I would stay up late at night and stay home from school to play it. The hotels and the test levels by link were so fun, and the level where you climbed into the wall with other people (hey I forgot about that) and the cracco level or whatever where you had to find all that stuff. And I was always trying to find out how to hack or cheat online. And playing on christmas eve.
And I was looking at the pictures and you people are like so old now. You're even older than me. Well anyway, I miss Jazz. Yeah this isn't the name I used, just so you don't think im some kind of weirdo.

No Im 15 now I've been playing for 7 years. You're right minmay, I joined the forum quite recently in this name, but I've had other accounts, my main one got suspended or something. I never was really into the forums, I just liked the game. I wish I could play again but I can never get that darned connection to work.

Joining other servers as a client should work pretty easely if your internet connection settings are working as it has to be. Creating a new server could give some trouble if you are under a router, if you are, then you have to open the router ports that are used for JJ2. And about my JJ2 activeness, I'm 16 years old and I'm playing the game since 1998, and I've joined the community early in 2003.

I've been playing Jazz for more than half of my life, heading toward three quarters.

My first version was the shareware version too, but I didn't managed to finish it yet in 1994. Later that year, my dad gave me the floppy's of the full game, and from that day I learned how to play the game for real. I had bought the CD version of the game years later by myself though.

I had the shareware first and I actually got to the second Medivo level before I got frustrated and cheated because I couldn't get past some point (I can't really remember.) Then, one day, I got home and everyone was like "OMG GO PLAY JAZZ!!!111" and I was like "Why? Those six levels got boring." But then they convinced me and I was like "OMG ALL THE EPISODE TITLES ARE WHITE =O=O=O"

Aaah; I do remember the old old days, when I was 6,7,8 and the first episode was so difficult, I kept running out of time on medivo annd ashing, and I tried to sneak Jazz full off of our school computer; on floppy disk; I got halfway through before the teacher cottoned on and had me expelled.
Then one day I saw the CD in a computer shop; ah, it was wonderufl!
