Maybe that's the reason why Radium hasn't dropped the bomb...

I'm waiting for someone else to. If this was something incredibly complex or advanced and in need of detailed criticism, I'd do it. But seriously, Moonblaze or Shade or FreeFull or even Faw could handle this one easily.

But it's funnier when you do.

Shaney summed it up quite nicely, I'd say. Go, Shaney, go!

I'd like to first start out by saying that I'm a terrible art critic, all I will do is point out the flaws and then move on to even more flaws. Maybe. We'll find out.
Booty is in the eye of the beholder sir, although the second post implies you already get plenty of that. Let's begin shall we? I assuming this is some kind of pig boy, or rather a super pig judging by the hands and nose (and super judging from the S). The biggest problem here is your overall lack of form. I know pigs are flabby and all, but they have skeletons just like you and I that keep them from blobing around like some kind of water balloon. There are some problems with perspective as well, such as the ears. Returning to the skeletal point- why are the arms coming out of where his rib cage should be D:? Thats about as indepth as I'm getting, this picture scares me. Moving on. In all honesty, this one is not that bad and has a kind of punk-rock feel, though the subject matter is hard to screw up. The only real problem here is the excess lineage at the chin and top left of the mouth. There are perspective and form issues such as those lightly touched on in the first drawing before I decided to get the (-) away from it. This is some sort of gremlin pig demon thing, I'm assuming, which also scares me. For some reason the fact that theres no art principals applied here makes the monster twice as scary. Anyways, whats with the hands? One of them looks malformed horribly and the right arm just looks like some carrot has been stuck into the head thing. Speaking of the head, the hair just does not look like hair at all. Wildly flaling lines does not good hair make. Hair has shape and form, and is rarely noticed by each indidvidual strand. Also back to the arms, and also adding the legs- Try to plan out the drawing ahead of time or at least be a good enough improv artist to know where you're going. The fact that the arms and legs look cheaply tacked on could have been avoided by thinking ahead even while in the moment. Ugh, I'm tired and I don't even know what the hell this thing is. Just look above and try to find something that applies here. Like form or crap, I don't know. I just don't know anymore. Please don't (mostly because I don't know what pitures are). Please leave me alone. I'm aware that theres two more pictures. No I will not critique them. |
