There are like no topics in misc. talk anymore. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks it's a pain in the butt to jump back and forth between forums that have topics that interest me.

Misc is still more active than Popular Culture, by the way.

This place is small enough to allow all the Non-Jazz talk forums to be merged into one single forum.

I like Pop Cult. It has a different kind of threads. Threads that were not popular among Misc.

I counted up the non-sticky topics in both forums that had activity in the first 5 days of January (so we're looking at a business week's worth of posts)
Pop Culture had 4 topics. Misc. Talk had 9. Doesn't seem like there'd be a substantial boost of topics if they were merged back together. Failing to see what you're aiming at.
