So I beat my cancer.

I'm on my work computer at Nasa so I really dont have a ton of time to get into detail but here goes.

Turns out I had a ewing's Sarcoma on the end of my pelvis, a rare form of bone cancer. I completed my chemotherapy and was in recovery for awhile and now I am working at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View California.

Just thought i'd give you guys an update.. Sorry it's so short. May be back later.

Extremely awesome. Hadn't seen you around here in ages - super glad to see you "pwned cancer," though I'm sorry to hear you had it at all.

Regrettably, Jazz probably runs as well on a supercomputer as it does on any computer you can buy nowadays, even most netbooks. It doesn't take a good computer at all to run JJ2. That said, I still want to try it on a supercomputer. ;p

Playing it without a framerate cap, that's what I'm interested in. ;D
Should make the game a lot harder...

I have a substantially above average computer, and I can only run JJ2 in windowed mode. If i run it it fullscren mode it lags abit, and oline it lags alot

I do remember you Eeveejt, I'm not sure if it was in a JJ2 game or on these forums. Either way, it's very good to see you got victorious over the disease, and good luck at work!

And I've still got a computer disconnected somewhere with an Intel 486 at 75Mhz and an onboard 'Chips & Technologies' 256 color VGA card plus 24MB of memory. This is of course no decent computer, but it does run JJ2 in 8bit mode on high detail, while it's pretty hard due to the framerate stuck at 7-12 FPS. It gets better on low detail, almost 20 FPS, but nothing serious.

I don't think it can run JJ2+ though, as JJ2 almost maxes out 24MB memory usage together with Win95..
