Decided to start one of these since it'd be a bit more organized then starting a new thread whenever I make something I consider postworthy (and this way I can post links to stuff and not feel like I'm cluttering the subforum!)

Not bad man. The design is good. Lose the black outline, try to get used to using thin ink lines. Use black contours for emphasis. First time I ever saw a n00b could get out of the closet to express him/herself properly j/k hahahaha.

Dude I don't use thick lines because I'm not "used" to thin lines (which makes no sense to begin with), I use them because I find thin lines extremely ugly on a cartoony design.

Same here. I hate the color outlines in today's cartoons with passion.

What can I say about the picture? Great design, as always. You have some nifty imagination, you know. Only real problem is just that I can't tell how this goo-arm holds/connects with that gun of sorts.

Yeah the end of goo arm bugs me too, I just didn't feel like screwing around with it much.

I actually like colored outlines when they're non-obtrusive (Like here or on my Dev ID) but often times the outline is too bright and flashy drawing attention away from the overall design.

Sweet art stuff and things, but Mr.Bitey.... IS(!) that guy from... ah... that old game... *looks at the disk* well it is spanish and says Le DiABLE D'HALLOWEEN. Wutever. Why the hell is it spanush anyway. Who cares. Smae guy. The game is in english. I think. I'm too lazy to install it and find out the name though. I'm still in shock from the spanish thing.

I realy hate Axe McMang though.

Actually Mr. Bitey was heavily inspired (to the point where it was near rip-off) from a piece of art Starluck did. He was originally drawn, oh jeez what was it- 4, maybe 5 years ago when I was much less original.

When it comes to pumpkin headed characters there really isn't a heck of a lot of difference (something I've been trying to correct with Lijikin by giving his expressions, actions, and situations heaps of personality)


EDIT- Looked up the game, are you confusing him with Knarf's sidekick Dennis in Jersey Devil? I loved that game, you sir just went up a few notches in my book (which admitably isn't really going to get you anywhere)

My criticism is that the muscles on the arm are rather messed up. Everything else works fine like that ( I assume you made sure that your style can be animated ), but if you're going to draw muscles, then you should know how to do it.
So, erm... use references, I guess.

Yah... that game. I guess it really is hard to be original when you draw them pumpkin dudes... still, they look the same. nothing wrong with that though, he IS cool.

Actually, since this was for a stationary logo for someone else (and a cheapskate to boot) that I probably would never draw again I actually didn't take into consideration.


Unless this is another Faw MindScrew where you point out something on one piece (IE- muscles, the the animated bit) and intend it to be on all pieces as a whole.

To be honest, I didn't get what you meant with that last paragraph...

Well after almost all of my previous critiques on your critiques, your rebuttal tends to be "well I meant you art in general" when in the previous post you were only talking about something extremely specific.

I'm more concerned with how the logo looks like it was done in 3 minutes and doesn't even have a nice minimalistic feel. It feels... slapdashed.

If you're wondering the newly posted comic is not a serious attempt, it is a parody of the "Two Guys on Couch" (or TGOC) genre. A genre so trite, unoriginal, bland, and overall humorless that it has its own acronym just because people got tired of typing out the whole name whilst trashing it.

Fanart! Deep down in my cold, dead heart I feel bad for not DMing.

"Off model" is very difficult to achieve considering that in the "official artwork", his eye color has already changed three times, his robotic limbs switched sides four times, and his clothing changed pretty much every incarnation.

To be fair, I made him more on-model with the Ice Puzzle game and in-battle sprites while I was inking. He originally had no hair, two robotic arms, and no robotic legs.

It has been TWO YEARS. Well more than that. Two years and a few months.
Its high time I dump some stuff I've done recently. And by that I mean anything from today to last year.

Lets start with what will probably be most relevant to your interests:

I realized later that Spaz has no tail and Jazz does. I haven't fixed it yet obviously.

Lets shift over to AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL COMICS
These two are based loosely/verbatim on actual conversations IM or otherwise!


This one is based on ACTUAL LIFE EVENTS Excitement!

This one isn't based on my life. I drew this like the week of E3 during some downtime at work while waiting for my next project. Watch as the quality of my drawings gradually degrade!



This one is also about VIDEO GAMES! It involves the "hidden messages" on the covers of Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

I quickly did this one right before catching a movie while a friend of mine was playing through the original Pokemon Green. If you are unaware, golbats are SNUCKED UP lookin in Pokemon Green.

Next is a series of art I did keeping track of my progress playing Pokemon Pearl for the first time! I stopped because I stopped playing for a bit.


I went through a period where I played a ton of Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future. What resulted was me drawing up me and me mates as rudies. Some are sketches and I need to get around to finishing those (its been like months.).








I guess I should mention I carouse with furries. Anyways MORE STUFF.
This character was inspired by a friend who is occasionally suicidal. I realized that suicide is SUPER BORING and came up with a voodoo doll character to explore fun ways to kill oneself with.
